Hello and welcome!

If you haven’t already I would take a moment to go to my about section and read that page first. It will give you an insight of who I am as a person and why I am here writing this blog! I’m assuming you have at least figured out that this is a Christian blog. Mainly about my personal journey with faith and my walk with Jesus.

With this being my first journal entry, I just want you to bear with me. Journaling is nothing new to me, but blogging on the other hand….well lets just say I have to shake the rust off. I had a blog over 10 years ago but I haven’t been active on it in forever.

Any who, welcome!

This blog has been on my mind and in my heart to do since about May or June of this year. So somewhat recent but I just think that the Lord knew I wasn’t fully ready to put out journal entries in the world. At that moment in time, I still truly wasn’t a full follower of Christ. But now, many things have changed for the better and the Lord has put in my heart that now is a great time to start this project.

Over time, as I share these journals with you, you’ll get to know more about me. My faith journey, my past, my grace story and all the in-between. Like every relationship or friendship, it takes time to really get to know someone. Even though I may be the author of these journals, the main person I would love for you to get to know is Jesus. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I am today. And again, over time you will hear my stories. From basically childhood until now (currently in my late 20’s). But again, I owe my life to Jesus. He is the main person that I want you to get to know. Even it that means getting to know him through my personal walk with Him.

At this moment, I think I am going keep this entry a little short and sweet. Just a basic intro journal entry I guess. But I would like to close with a prayer. Before I do that, I just want to say thank you for reading to the end and I hope you come back to read more. Alright let me close with a prayer. Heavenly Father, Thank you for bringing this person who is reading on the other side of the screen here to see this journal entry. I pray that this person may get to know you more through what you have done in my life. I pray that you guide me as the author of this blog to write with your intentions. I want to thank you for pushing me to start this blog and start to share my journey with you publicly. Lord, I have so much to thank you for. In this moment now, I pray that you bless whomever is reading this journal entry. I pray that you bless them in this moment and throughout the rest of their day. Jesus, it is Your kingdom come and let Your will be done. Thank you once again for this opportunity to share what you have done in my life so that someone may see the good news of everlasting life we have in You. I pray this all in your name Jesus. Amen.
